This book is the result of a collaboration between the Institute for Climate Protection, Energy and Mobility (IKEM) and Ellery Studio. Ellery worked with a team of researchers, visual artists, and designers to distill technical information on energy policy and subsidies into the fun and accessible illustrations that appear in this book. IKEM brought in a team with a great deal of scientific expertise and Ellery translated their research into visuals that can be easily understood and engaged with.

In order to do justice to the social complexity of the topic, Ellery Studio invented a completely new communication medium with the format "Infographic Novel", which supplements the objectivity of the scientific facts of Agora Verkehrswende with narration and explanation with personal reference.

"When I'm 67" is a long-term documentary by Knallrot Film that follows eight protagonists on their journey of planning and realising their dream of communal living in old age.
The visual identity we created for the documentary is based on the dream of building a communal and harmonic home. From the crowdfunding campaign to premiere tickets, from social media content to a cookbook with recipes from the protagonists: each piece stands for itself and still builds upon one another, just like the stories of a big house.

Every year, the public schools of Detroit hand out a performance report to all their employees.
Inspired by the educational environment, we designed the report based on the concept of "thriving". A set of exchangeable illustrations that can be re-used by the school office for every new report, giving them the freedom to adapt the layout every year.

A refugee shelter is barely seen as a home: It's inhabitants are mostly on their way through, many unknown faces live closely next bed.

Workshops and simple signs help the inhabitants to orientate in the new homes. Learning where and how to care for the environment helps to develop a sensibility and therefore a peaceful co-living situation - creating homes.
